International Journal of Yoga (ISSN # 0973-6131), is a multidisciplinary quarterly scientific Yoga journal, dedicated to Yoga research and applications. The journal is an official publication of the Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (a Deemed University) recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development through UGC, Government of India, New Delhi, India. This journal is published by Medknow Publications, Mumbai, India.

Svami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana   (SVYASA)

One of the premier Yoga institutions in India. Established in 1975, the institute completed its silver Jubilee in the year 2000. It has been recognized as the Scientific and Industrial Research Organization [SIRO-since 1988] by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Government of India, New Delhi. Over the years SVYASA has achieved several milestones, the major one being the Deemed University status [since 2002] given by the Government of India and another such milestone is the publication of the International Journal of Yoga. The website of the institution (www.svyasa.org) is one of the most visited Yoga sites in the world.
